Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to all sales and
deliveries of products purchased by consumers in the Atlas &August online shop trading under J.Vedel ApS, company registration 43711733, Taarbaek Strandvej 58, Denmark (hereinafter referred to as “Atlas & August” or “we”). www.atlasandaugust.com (“Website”)
is owned and operated by J.Vedel ApS.
Placing orders
Atlas & August webshop is open 24/7 and you are welcome to place an
order any time. We reserve the right for the site to be temporarily down or
under maintenance, including external payment gateways etc.
Atlas & August is not able to make changes to your order after it has been
completed. Please make sure that everything is correct before you check out.
You are responsible for entering the correct information yourself.
Shortly after placing your order, you will receive a receipt by email
where we confirm that we have received your order. Please note that this
receipt is not an order confirmation and that the order is not binding upon us
at that time. A binding agreement between you and Atlas & August has been
entered into when we confirm by email that your order has been dispatched.
We reserve the right not to accept your order if, for example, we are
unable to obtain authorization for payment, if shipping restrictions apply to a
particular product, if the product ordered is out of stock or does not satisfy
our quality control standards and is recalled. Atlas & August reserves the
right to refuse to process an order if there is suspicion of resale in a
commercial context, fraud regarding payment, identity or other.
Payment
Payment can be made by MasterCard, Visa, VisaDankort, MobilePay and other payment methods clearly stated on the website. Please note that it is not possible for us to charge a higher amount than that authorized by you. We will take all reasonable care, in so far it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorized access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the Website.
Prices
Atlas & August reserves the right to make typographical errors,
system errors or other causes of mispricing of a product.
Customs and Import duties
Any customs and import duties that are charged when your order reaches its destination country must be paid by the recipient of the order. Atlas & August has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. As customs and import regulations vary from country to country, we encourage you to contact your local customs office should you have any questions or need assistance.
Claims
Defects and shortages from orders must be reported to Atlas & August upon receipt and within a reasonable time. Please note that due to the personalized settings of your monitors, the colours displayed on the screen may differ from colours of the prints. All printed products can vary I colour when printed in different batches. Any reservations or comments about the print quality must be reported before it is applied to the wall or any other surface. Otherwise, they will not be accepted as a claim.

Shipping and delivery
We aim to process your order as quickly as possible and typically ship
within 3-5 business days. Orders are not shipped on weekends. During sales
periods, public holidays or other events, extended delivery times may occur.
All customers paying by credit card are subject to validation, and Atlas & August
reserves the right to postpone the delivery of an order if we believe that
additional security checks are necessary. Once your order has been shipped,
we will send you an email with the tracking number of the parcel. Atlas & August
can not be held liable for any delays with the shipping company or local customs.
Canceling an order before dispatch
It is only possible to cancel your order if we have not started processing your order in our system. We reserve the right to refuse to cancel the order if the order is in the process of being or has already been packed by our warehouse. If your refuse to receive the order by either refusing home delivery or failing to pick up the parcel at the pick-up point, you will be charged a free for the return costs.
Returns and withdrawal
The right of withdrawal expires 14 days after the day you receive your order.
The deadline means that you have 14 days from the day of receipt to notify us that you want to withdraw from your purchase. You can send an email to:

You cannot withdraw from the purchase by refusing to accept the order without notifying us at the same time The products must be returned to the following adress:

You must pay for the postage and other costs associated with the return.
Costs associated with return shipping are paid by you and are not covered by Atlas
& August or J.Vedel ApS. When returning goods, you are responsible for
ensuring that the item is properly packaged to prevent damage during transportation. You are liable for the goods untill they are returned to our address. When sending your return parcel, we recommend that you add a tracking number so you can always follow the parcel.
We reserve the right to withhold payment until the package is received.
When returning, please make sure to get
a receipt for the posting of the parcel when you hand over the parcel. This is
your proof that the package has been returned to us and you should keep the
posting receipt until you receive notice from Atlas & August that your returned parcel has been received and processed.Send your return to us no later than 14 days after you have notified us that you wish to return the purchase.
If the goods are not received in their original condition and packaging, we may make a deduction from the refund corresponding to the decrease in value of the goods.If returned products show signs of damage or use, other than what is required to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product, you will be liable for any loss of value of such product. If the original packaging is missing, the value of the goods may be impaired. The item must be in its original packaging. The item must not have signs of wear, stains, damage etc. Atlas & August will refund the amount to the same payment method you used for the purchase, and we are not able to refund to another payment account or issue gift cards as an alternative refund solution.
Libiality
We are not liable for use of the products if you use them for purposes other
than those for which they are intended or for indirect losses and our liability
is in any event strictly limited to the purchase price of the product you have purchased.
Personal data policy
The following customer information is requested by Atlas & August when you shop on our website: Name, address, phone number and e-mail address. We register and pass on the personal data that is necessary in order to deliver the product to you. You have the right to know what data we process about you. If you believe that the information is inaccurate, you have the right to have it corrected. In some cases, we are obliged to delete your personal data if you request it. For example, if your data is no longer necessary in relation to the purpose for which we needed it. All product designs, product names and content of our website are
protected by international copyright and trademark laws. You may not use any
product designs, product names or trademarks presented on this site without
